Jewish Hospital and Saint Mary's HealthCare recently launched an iPhone app that does just that. You can find a physician/ER, make an appointment, register for events and incorporate a calorie tracker in your daily routine - all on the go! It's well designed, easy to use and FREE. And, most importantly, it's a great example of how social media can offer real community engagement and education.
